Welcome to my world
Although I always had a love for photography I never owned an SLR. This never stopped though, I was happy snapping away at literally everything with my humble mobile phone or my "idiot proof" point and shoot.
I eventually bought my first DSLR in January 2016 and soon started to explore the endless possibilities in the world of photography and recognise the trapped artist within. My love affair with photography really went into orbit.
It has been a steep learning curve, getting out of auto.. experimenting with white balance.. playing with long exposures.. but I've totally enjoyed the results. Yes there have been some frustrating times, but perseverance really does reward you.
The journey is far from over, I have so much to learn and so much to try, I haven't even found my niche yet but so far I've got the most satisfaction from shooting landscape and night photography.
