Brighton Pride 2017
Brighton Pride has become a regular getaway for me, I've seen the event grow in popularity over the years to what is now widely recognised as the UK's biggest pride festival!
Whilst it's been an eternity since I've ventured into Preston Park for the main festival, I still enjoy the parade and the carefree spirit of the people of Brighton. That with the added attraction of being by the sea and spending the afternoon strolling round the Lanes makes this one of my favourite getaways.
George Montague (above), local hero and self named "Oldest Gay In The Village" makes the annual visit to his favourite Pride with husband Somchai (not pictured here). 94 years young George, who got his alto-eager from Little Britain character Daffyd Thomas, first took part in the parade 10 years ago.
