I've always been attracted to dark, moody images, sometimes the things you can't quite see hold more interest than the obvious. Welcome to life's very own shadow theatre.
I spent around 40 minutes in this walkway shooting images of people passing by; each picture uniquely different but I think this one works best.
The low morning sun cast elongated shadows through the arches at Covent Garden.
The Angel Of The North casts the perfect silhouette with its instantly recognisable iconic form.
To use a cliche, the possibilities are endless, and I can see that I'm going to have hours of fun with this style of photography. Expect more silhouettes and shadows on dyerblog this year.
