Nevertheless the sun came out and I was ready to capture the magic of the UK's brightest parade. Sunglasses at the ready, you're gonna need them.
George Montague (above), local hero and self named "Oldest Gay In The Village" makes the annual visit to his favourite Pride with husband Somchai (not pictured here). 94 years young George, who got his alto-eager from Little Britain character Daffyd Thomas, first took part in the parade 10 years ago.
