With just 18 days until I begin my academic marathon I can literally feel the excitement growing. It's almost time to dust down that duffle coat, replace the elastic in my mittens and buff the old satchel. I've completed my registration, received my timetable and downloaded the faculty app.. it all seems so real now.
In an understandable break to tradition there's no freshers week.. out of the window goes that all-important opportunity to bond with fellow students before knuckling down to some serious graft. The majority of the first term consist of online sessions; upsetting to some, but if it gets me out of an hour on a bus full of airborne nasties I'm down with that.
A lot of activities will be organised differently this year, UAL are certainly going all out to ensure life on campus continues, 2nd lockdown or not.
