Before meeting Norman I had a hunch it would be a rewarding shoot. I'd been following 'mr.normz' on Instagram for a while, his images spoke of a young man with plenty of ambition and drive; this turned out to be a mirror of his personal life.
Quietly spoken, Norman should not be mistaken for a shrinking violet; on the contrary, he's very much an assertive individual on a mission to pursue his dream of "grabbing the world's attention, one picture at a time". Within days of agreeing to collaborate I received several images illustrating the concept in mind, his keen involvement continued right up to the end of the shoot.
The afternoon of the shoot was one of the hottest of the summer but Norman continued to keep his cool, stopping only to wait for me to set up my camera and recompose.
